What data we collect
We collect the following information when you use CoFamy:
Your name and email address (when you create an account)
Your children's first names and assigned colours (for task assignment)
Email content that you forward to add@cofamy.com
Tasks extracted from your emails
Device token for push notifications (if you enable them)
How we use your data
We use your data solely to provide the CoFamy service:
To create and manage your account
To extract action items from emails you forward to us
To share tasks with your partner (family sharing)
To send you deadline reminders via push notifications
Email content
When you forward an email to add@cofamy.com, we process the email content using AI to extract action items and deadlines. The email content is stored temporarily during processing and the extracted text is saved as a task source reference. We do not read, store or share your email content for any other purpose.
Who we share your data with
We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to provide the service:
Google Firebase — database and authentication hosting
OpenAI — AI processing to extract tasks from email content
Cloudflare — infrastructure and email routing
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as you have an active CoFamy account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at add@cofamy.com.

Description of service
CoFamy is a family productivity application that extracts action items from forwarded emails using artificial intelligence. The service is provided free of charge during the beta period.
User accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
You must be 18 or over to create an account
One account per person
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use CoFamy for any unlawful purpose
Forward emails containing illegal, harmful or offensive content
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Reverse engineer or copy the service
Use the service to send spam or bulk emails
AI-generated content
CoFamy uses AI to extract tasks from emails. While we strive for accuracy, AI-extracted tasks may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing extracted tasks for accuracy.
Data and privacy
Your use of CoFamy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
Limitation of liability
CoFamy is provided "as is". We are not liable for any missed deadlines, lost data or other damages resulting from use of the service. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
